More views of Kilburn and the White Horse
Kilburn is a small village which nestles underneath Sutton Bank on the edge of the North York Moors.
The village is famous for the White Horse of Kilburn (cut into the side of Sutton Bank overlooking the village) and also Robert Thompson, the craftsman who was known from his carved mouse trademark as the "Mouseman of Kilburn". Examples of his work in Yorkshire include the oak pews at Hubberholme Church in the Yorkshire Dales.
